Lets take a little time to talk about the phrase, "Cleanliness is next to Godlinesss." Is it good to keep a clean house? I try and keep my home fairly clean, but I'm not always successful. How clean a house will be is up to the people that live there, not y'all or me.
If you like a clean house, then you've made your decision to keep your house clean. That doesn't give you the right to go into a messy house and point out all their mess.
I bet they are fully aware of the condition of their house. It's only up to us to accept their invitation to come in. Once you accept that invitation then it's up to you to make yourself comfortable in their home.
After you get in there, if you just can't adjust, then leave. Do so politely and lovingly. You might say something like this. "Its been pretty hot today. Would you mind if we went outside to visit a little? I noticed the evening shade has cooled down your front porch. You have a lot of room on your porch and you have obviously invested a lot of time and care in making it comfortable. So if it's okay lets go outside and sit a while."
There's no need to say, "This place is a horrible mess. If I'm going to stay here, (As your King that has honored you with my presence.) The only place I'll be comfortable is outside on that front porch. You coming or not?"
Y'all see the difference. I'm sure you do. Well that's it for now. Over and out. Love y'all.
